I had no idea and am very sorry I did not stay in touch more often. Share a memory, I have too many. Met Marvin when we were 4 or 5 and we hung out for the most part into our mid-teens. Touched base with him after I was discharged, he was already out of the Army, and then about every ten years into the nineties. Many fond memories my old friend. Long time coming, condolences Deb, the family and friends.

marvin duane osterman a grandfather to me,and a great one at it! my grandpa was a great,kind,generous and loving man.he has alkways been there for me and my family at the hardest moments.he was a great father to my dad and whatched him grow into a man and now my father has whatched me grow into a young man. I have always thought of my grandpa as a strong dependable man but he has such a kind forgiving heart. When he let my family and myself into his home, he showed us so much love and care. He has done so much for other people in his life, but now its his time to rest in peace. He will always have a peice of my heart.

Although I have only known Marvin a short time, I found him to be a kind and caring man who dearly loved his son Mike and his 3 grandchildren.
