Shelton, Esther “Lorene”, 88, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed November 13, 2012. Lorene is a retired McLeod’s bookkeeper and enjoyed painting, gardening and was an avid birdwatcher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Edgar Shelton, Oct.12, 2011; brother, Lester Parrish and sister, Wilma Bell. Her survivors are daughters, Kathy (Dan) Taylor of Wichita, Pam (Joe) Piper of Fall River; brothers, Phillip and Paul Parrish of MO; grandchildren, Mark Moerner of Wichita, Amy Moerner of CA, Kevin Piper of Wichita, Shelley Fuentes of TX, Cory Andrews of Wichita and 8 great grandchildren. A private family memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Harden Hospice (formerly Hospice Care of Kansas).
