Lewis Frederick (Fred) Howard, age 73, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born January 31, 1951, in Waurika, Oklahoma to Harvey Lee Howard and Margie Wanda (Totty) Howard.
Fred proudly served his country in The United States Army. He was employed by Boeing/Spirit for 44 years and was an active member of Northstar Masonic Lodge #58. He loved to hunt and fish and looked forward to the annual trips to Table Rock Lake. His favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Lewis Christian Howard.
Fred is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susanne (Osner) Howard; children: Kristi Hickey (Chuck), Kyle Howard (Jessica), Ken Howard (Sarah), Kendra Stang (Rick); brother, Jim Howard; sister, Faye Bollen; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Mortuary with a graveside service immediately to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in The Garden of Love, 11800 W. Kellogg, Wichita, KS.
