69, former employee of Team Vision Surgery Center, passed away on November 28, 2017. She was a loving mother and grandmother and devoted friend. Karen is preceded by parents, Eileen and Charles Millender. She is survived by daughter, Rhonda VanWinkle; grandson, Joe VanWinkle; and sister, Leann (Alex) Menezes. Celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be given to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita, KS 67202.
