Joy A. (Cox) Brown was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 15th, 1933. She was a graduate of North High School and married her high school sweetheart, Eddie D. Brown. She was a military wife and stay at home mother to her four children; Patricia, Barry, Deborah and Angela. She enjoyed decorating her home and cooking for her family and friends. Joy worked at Westside Flowers as the “Upfront Lady” for over 20 years. She loved to travel and visit her children and grandchildren in Kansas, Texas and Florida. Singing brought her the most joy. A friends and family gathering will be held from 430 to 730pm, Friday, July 15th at 14801 Valley Hi Cr with a celebration of life at 6pm.
