He was a devoted father, doting grandfather, and a beloved member of his community.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph H. Booth Sr. and Virginia Booth. He is survived by his children: Tiffany, Joey and his wife Abbie; Kelly and her husband Chris; Joshua; Joseph Ewertz; and Jeremiah and his Wife Billie Jo. His legacy also lives through his numerous grandchildren: Mikayla, Mariah, Jordan, Jaxon, Andon, Nevaeh, Daemon, Logan, Max, Elora, River, Bentley, Miah and Harper, as well as his great-grandchildren, Rowan and one on the way.
He is also survived by his siblings: Wade (Janet) Booth, Gary Booth, Dewayne (Karen) Booth and LuAnne Abshire.
HIs life was marked by his dedication to his family and his work. In 1982, he founded a successful tree service and later in 1989, he began a fulfilling career at Raytheon.
Above all, Joseph cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, eagerly assisting them with their projects and always being there when they needed him.
Joseph's faith was a cornerstone of his life and he found strength in his relationship with the Lord. His unwavering faith guided him through life and inspired those around him.
Joseph Howell Booth Jr. will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may have left this earthly realm, his spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of those he loved.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, 5 pm to 7 pm with a memorial service will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 at 3 pm, and a graveside service to follow. All occurring at Resthaven Mortuary and Gardens of Memory, Freedom Lot 122B, Space 2, 11800 W. 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
