Jordan was a graduate from Augusta Senior High School in 2014 where he loved playing in the Jazz Band. He graduated from the Marine Corp on September 11, 2015. He worked at the El Dorado Correctional Facility. Jordan worked doing odd jobs, making videos, and social media management for ILO Consulting Services. His greatest passion was playing a wide range of genres on the drums. He also toured and played drums for The Trent Fletcher Band in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. He helped with drum tracks on records, gave drum lessons, and played softball. He kept himself fit going to the gym. He made a number of drumming and inspirational videos on Facebook and Tik-Tok. He always wanted to make sure anyone who was around him smiled, he listened to others, and always offered up encouragement to others. He gave his love away to friends and family which left him feeling empty sometimes. When he went out to eat or went on vacation he offered to pay his way. However, when we asked him if he had money he would say he always had ten dollars. We soon caught on to what that meant, he was broke. His dad found his wallet in his room after his passing, and it was very ironic he only had nine dollars.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Ray Wescoat; great grandmother, Jean Wescoat; grandmother, Ramona Wescoat; uncle, Jason Wescoat; beloved aunt, Angie Diel; and great grandma, Jane Flowers.
Jordan is survived by his parents, Charles and Stacey Gladfelter; sister, Bay Gladfelter; nephews, Diwali Shunatona, Ace Shunatona, Huxley Carleton, Maxton Lemons, and Maverick Lemons; nieces, Hartley Carleton and Cora Lemons; grandfather, Jerry Wescoat; grandmother, Leslie Wood; the Hufferd family; multiple aunts and uncles, and all them cousins! Some of them were like siblings. Then all the dogs! Rojo and Maggie and the one and only Johnny Cash!
Also survived by all of his best friends, Tori, Allie and Lexi; and those who he considered brothers and best friends, Weston, Trent, Buddy, Vince, and Dylan. These are ones that we know of but we know there are many more.
Just know if he met you he was your best friend.
