Rogers, John E., 86, went to his eternal home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2017. John worked for Cessna for 19 years and owner of John Rogers Trucking. He enjoyed coaching basketball, gospel singing, traveling around in his motor home, and being a proud grandfather. He is preceded in death by parents Ellis and Dessie Rogers, 1 brother, and 1 sister. He is survived by wife of 66 years, Ozella; sons, Michael (Becky) Rogers, Clifford (Linda) Rogers, and Howard (Ruth) Rogers; 3 sisters; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Monday July 10 at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm July 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Haysville.
