Jerry C. Goodwin Jr., age 69, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022. He retired as Business Owner of SSI Sprinkler Systems, Inc. and previous owner of Riverside IGA. Jerry was born February 23, 1953 to Clint and Rosa Goodwin who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally, and his children; Shawna (Craig) Lashley, Jason (Cristy) Goodwin, sisters; Janet (Tom) Richardson, and Vickie (Colin) Hooley. He was also preceded in death by his siblings; Mike Goodwin, Suzanne Lewis, and Diana Shuffler. He was very proud of his 7 grandchildren, Jakob Goodwin, Alex (Mike) Seltenreich, Sydney Lashley, Sami Lashley, Pearce Lashley, Carter Goodwin, and Cash Goodwin.
Jerry enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including spending time with family at Eureka Lake. He and Sally traveled extensively throughout their time together. Out of all the tropical vacations they took, Australia was their favorite!
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 beginning at 9:00 am with family present at Resthaven Mortuary 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209 with a Celebration of Life following at 10:00 am.
