Jane "Janie" Page, 56, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, Kansas. She was born July 26, 1967 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Donald Willard and Carol Jean (Murra) Walker.
She grew up in Brainerd, MN enjoying the lake life of boating, water skiing, four wheeling and snowmobiling with her brother, Scot and their dear family friends, the Phelps. She graduated from Lake Region Christian School and received her secretarial degree from Brainerd Area Vocational Technical Institute. She completed two years at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.
She spent the majority of her career in non-profit organizations. She faithfully and eagerly attended Life Church on Maize Rd. She found such joy and fulfillment in being the hands and feet of Christ. When she wasn’t spoiling her 5 grandkids, Janie loved to decorate, antique shop, and spend time with her friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Jean (Murra) Walker.
She is survived by: her father, Donald Walker; brother, Scot Walker and son Brock; daughter, Heidi Page, fiancé, Joseph Ostini; son Justin Page, wife, Kim and grandchildren, Jace, Khloe, and Jared, and her youngest daughter, Holly Christenson, husband Brian and her grandchildren, Charlotte and Ainsely.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2:00 P.M., both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas. Cremation will follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated in Janie's name to Dear Neighbor Ministries / Step Stone located at 1329 S. Bluffview Drive, Wichita, Kansas 67218.
