Kilmer, Ivan "Dutch" J., 89, passed away October 4, 2016. Born to Iven and Augusta Kilmer in Alva, OK, he served in the Navy as a Seaman 1st Class in WWII. Ivan would retire April 3, 1989 as a painter with Beech Aircraft after 39 years, where he was known as "Overspray" to his co-workers. He is preceded in death by wife of 67 years, Dorothy M. Kilmer; daughter-in-law, Olga L. Kilmer; 5 brothers, 4 sisters and parents. Ivan is survived by sons, Shelby J. (Olga C.) Kilmer of Springfield and David L. (Rhonda) Kilmer of Wichita; grandchildren, Jeremy (Allie) and Julie Kilmer of Wichita and Jose Kilmer of Springfield; great grandchildren, Anna, Hunter, Victoria, Ryder, and Cysallie. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary and Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 at Colonial Heights Assembly of God.
