Hazel E. Young

Young, Hazel Elvera (Nichols), born August 31, 1928, Webster Co. Missouri and the daughter of Foster Newton Nichols and Olcie Melinda Ellis. She passed away July 12, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George “Jack” Wayne Young; sisters Undine Nichols, Reba Nichols and infant Nichols and brothers FN Nichols (Infant) and Charles Nichols Sr. Survivors include daughter, Lucy Young of Wichita; son Larry (Marcia) Young of Benton; brother, Ellis (Virginia) Nichols of Marshfield, MO; sister-in law, Betty Nichols of Marshfield, MO; grandsons; Andy (Jenn) Young of Wichita and Matt Young of Loveland, CO; great-grandson, Nicolas “Cole” Young and great granddaughter, Olivia Young. She was saved as a young girl and was active for the Lord many years and a member of Salem MBC of Wichita. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday July 18, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita or Salem Bible Ministry, 352 N. Young, Wichita.
