Young, Jr., George Edwin, 83, WWII and Korea Navy veteran and retired Boeing employee of 36 years passed away Sept. 25, 2010. His survivors are wife Carole of Derby; son Mike (Glenna) Young of Derby; daughter Linda (Jon) Shortt of Milton, Ontario Canada; step daughters Michelle (Joe) Moss of Derby, Kelly Black of Branson, MO; brother Bobby (Corrine) of Derby; sister Janis (Bill) Richey of Derby; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Viewing is Wednesday 12 to 8 with family receiving 5 to 6 pm and funeral service is 3:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 30 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. Memorial in lieu of flowers with Faith Home Health and Hospice.
