Gayla Floyd, 64, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 in Wichita. Gayla was born the daughter of Lawrence D. Sprout and Sharon F. Sprout on November 18, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas. Gayla loved watching John Wayne movies and Chopped on Food Network. She worked for many years as a CNA. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lawrence "Buddy" Sprout.
Survivors included her children, Robert Greenfield, Eric Tornquist, Sarah Floyd, and Kyle Floyd. Grandchildren; Payton Tornquist, Eli Tornquist, Lilliana Floyd. Siblings: Lawrence "Lonnie" Sprout, Lori Smith;
Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
