Francis "Frank" Joseph Rosbach VI

Francis Joseph Rosbach VI, 86, passed away peacefully in his home in Wichita on Sunday, May 21, 2023, surrounded by family. Frank was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Frank was born on November 17, 1936, in Whitehall, Montana, to Francis Joseph Rosbach V and Emma Jeane Marie (Morrow) Rosbach. He and his only sister, Karen, were raised by their paternal grandparents, Francis Joseph Rosbach IV and Edna Belle (Logan) Rosbach. Frank would go on to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and serve the church as a missionary in the Southern United States Mission. He would also go on to join the Navy and achieve the rank of 1st Class Petty Officer.

In 1962 he married the love of his life, Edna Lynne (Cockayne) Rosbach, in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. They spent 61 years together in this life, and they look forward to eternity together.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather Fred Trauger; brothers-in-law Don Cockayne and Ken Peterson; sister-in-law Barbara Nelson; and grandchildren Richard and Linsey Rosbach.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lynne, and their eight children: Frank (Stacey), Mark (Tammy), Michael (Donna), Steven (Sandy), Jennifer Jensen (Jason), Kenneth (Miranda), Philip (Shelli), and Emily. He is also survived by his 28 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and his loving sister, Karen.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26th, 2023, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 1:00 p.m., both at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7834 W. 29th St. N., Wichita, KS. Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Wichita with Navy Military Honors.

Frank’s ultimate legacy was of his love, devotion and commitment to his family, and his strength in his faith. He was a great example to us all, and will be greatly missed. We strive to continue his legacy and make him proud, until we meet again.
