Green, Ernest M., 85, retired commercial and industrial electrical engineer / consultant passed away May 18, 2015. Ernest served in the US Marine Corps from 1950-52. He was a certified judge for pre-Olympic gymnastics trials in 1961. Ernest was a former Kansas Wing Commander, Colonel, of The Civil Air Patrol, auxiliary of The US Air Force, during 1969 -73. He was also a US Marine Corp veteran. Preceded in death by his brother, Jack A. and sister, Gloria M. Wolff. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Juanita M.; sons, Scott R. (Irina) Green, Gregory A. (Kevin Ann) Green, Chris A. (Teresa) Green; sister, Virginia I. Brown; grandchildren, Clint R., Erica M., Jess F. and Sadie M. Green. Visitation with family is 5 to 7 pm Thursday and funeral service is 3:00 pm Friday, May 22 both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
