Denise was born on May 7th, 1970, to George W. (Jay) Knouf and Ruth (Snyder) Knouf.
In 1990, she met Michael Cooley, and were joined in marriage on June 22nd, 1991. January of 1996, they were blessed with the birth of Alyssa Nicole Cooley and in November of 1999 they welcomed Zachary Alan Cooley.
Denise is predeceased by her grandfathers, Kermit Snyder and Theodore Knouf; grandmothers, Doris (Cundiff) Snyder and Lola (Cartmell) Knouf; and father, Jay. She is survived by her husband, Michael; mother, Ruth; daughter and son-in-law, Alyssa and Ryan; son and daughter-in-law, Zac and Keely; as well as, two older sisters, seven nieces, and two nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service for Denise will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
