David Van Echaute, age 57, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, after a courageous battle with an aggressive cancer. David was born August 21, 1965 to James and Martha Van Echaute, in Wichita, Kansas.
David grew up in Wichita, and graduated from Wichita South High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Dana Terrill in 1986. They had 5 children, Alexandra, Megan, Brandon, Jenna and Ryan.
David had a 15 year career in the printing industry at Service Business Forms, and followed that with a career change to Information Technology. This is when he found his calling, at Universal Products Inc., for almost 23 years. He loved his job and work family and had a work ethic that was undeniable.
David loved everything Disney, and thought Walt Disney World was the most magical place on earth.
David is preceded in death by his Mother, Martha Fields, and his Father, James Van Echaute
Survivors include his wife, Dana, Alexandra Van Echaute (Alexander Nickle), Megan Van Echaute, Brandon Van Echaute, Jenna Van Echaute and Ryan Van Echaute all of Wichita, and grandchildren Tesa, Gavin and Gunner Mashburn, of Mobile, Alabama. Sister, Cynthia Murphy of Morrilton, Arkansas, Brothers, Robert Van Echaute (Christine) of Wichita and James Fields, (Lisa), of Wooster, Arkansas 10 nieces and nephews and countless other relatives and friends.
