Charles "Chuck" Edward Macy, age 94, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Chuck and Marge were the owners of C&M TV Service for 27 years. Charles served in the Navy during WWII as Seaman First Class on the USS Natrona. During his service time he earned five distinguished ribbons. Chuck and his son-in-law, Joe Wheeler went on the Kansas Honor Flight, September 17th - September 19th 2014. Chuck was honored to be able to go and Joe was honored to take him. Charles was known as the squirrel whisperer, he enjoyed feeding and caring for his squirrels. Chuck and Marge loved to be with their family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret A. (Rowe) Macy; brother, Paul A. Macy; sister, Barbara J. Hendley; step-son, Duane M. Laurie; and son-in-law, David J. Wheeler. Survived by daughter, Candace "Candi" Macy; brother, Ronald D. Macy; sisters, Susan A. Estes and Jo Ann Vogel; daughter-in-law, Sandi Laurie; grandchildren, Duane M. Laurie Jr., Heidi J. Wheeler and Marcus L. Wheeler; four great-grandsons; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Public visitation with no family present will be held 1pm-5pm on Wed. Nov., 25, 2020, at Resthaven Mortuary. A private service will be held. Memorials to, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Kansas Honor Flight or any organization of your choice.
