Charles R. "Rudy" Anderson

Anderson, Charles R. “Rudy”, 62, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Sat. Dec. 17, 2016 in Wichita. Rudy was born the son of Joseph and Cynthia “Pauline” (Gutcher) Anderson on Jan. 22, 1954 in Superior, NE. Rudy and Lynda were united in marriage on Aug. 14, 1972 in Great Bend, KS. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage. Rudy and his brother Joe owned and operated five different Stimulation Companies in the Oil Industry throughout 44 years. Rudy was a good mentor and gave a lot of individuals their advancement in the Oil field. He was loving individual and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Peggy and Kay, brother, Donald Anderson, daughter, Terri Anderson. Survivors include his loving wife, Lynda Anderson of Wichita, children, Gary (Tawny) Anderson of Midland, TX, William (Athelea) Anderson of Berthoud, CO, Kristopher Charles-Paul Anderson of Wichita, Alexandria Mae-Pauline Anderson, of Wichita, grandchildren, Jessie, Huyana and Junior, siblings, Alice, Rosie, Joe, Mick, Jim, Ronnie, Cynthia, Clayton and Kathy. Visitation will be on Wed. Dec. 21, 2016 from 5 to 7pm. Funeral services will be 10am on Thurs. Dec. 22, 2016 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Dignity Memorial Celebrant Cyndi Pearce will officiate. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorials can be made to the Alexandria “Zandy” College Fund, c/o Emprise Bank, Wichita, KS.
