Cecilia worked with her mother and sister teaching private music lessons at age 15 in Augusta. While attending Wichita State University, she started playing the viola with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra until 1963. She started teaching her daughter to play the violin when she was 3 years old. Cecilia taught private lessons out of her home for 65 years. She was dearly loved by her students and they looked at her as a grandma. Cecilia didn't know a stranger, was a joy to be around and had a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
