Bridget White

Bridget Helena White, 83, of Wichita, KS, peacefully entered eternal rest on October 29, 2024. Born on August 28, 1941, in Ada, Oklahoma, to John and Margaret Flaherty, Bridget dedicated her life to education after earning her bachelor’s degree at Sacred Heart College (Newman University). She taught for the Diocese of Wichita until her retirement. On June 3, 1972, Bridget married the love of her life, John Anthony (Tony) White, at All Saints Catholic Church, and together, they built a loving family.

Preceded in death by her parents, and survived by her loving husband of 52 years, sister Mary (Dave) Kirkbride of Wichita, KS, their children John White Jr., Patrick (Chris) White, Maggie (Larry) Hare, and Cecilia (Katie) White, Grandchildren Zack (Kadie), Haley, Heidi, Zane, Hannah, Zeke White of Wichita, KS; Karen Zaukar of Anchorage, AK; William and Grace Hare of Wichita, KS; Jasper White-Knight, Journey Knight of Wichita, KS; Adrianna (Ben) Champion; and Reece, Sullivan, and Atticus Hayden-White of Olathe, KS.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10 AM, in the chapel of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. This will be followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. St. Patrick’s Catholic Church is at 2007 N Arkansas Ave, Wichita, KS 67203. Burial will occur on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 10 AM at West Lawn Cemetery in the Memorial Park section, in Henryetta, OK.
