Bonnie or “Nana” as she was lovingly called by her many grandkids and great-grand kids, had a deep and unwavering faith in Christ. A favorite verse of hers came from the Prophet Isaiah,
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10.
With her faith came a very kind a generous soul, she was always willing to help someone in need or lend a hand when needed. Mom really enjoyed being creative. She made quilts for all of the kids and could often be found painting or doing anything crafty and she loved to sing, on or even off key!
We will miss her sense of humor and clever jokes and will always remember her silly, goofy, and larger than life personality. She always had the biggest personality in the room, and in this family that can be a competition! Her zest for life showed in everything she did. We will miss her deeply.
Celebration of Life Service will be at 3 p.m, October 14, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary. 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita. A private family internment will be at Moscow Cemetery at a later date.
