       "To My Beloved Grand-Mother"

Grand- Mother,

 You are an extraordinary, significant and a memorable person whom I admire. Your willingness to love , forgive others', and your patience made you an admirable woman. 

Because of You: 
Grand-Mother, because of you, I learned to forgive others'. Because of you, I want to carry the burden for others'. Because of you, I want to be a better person.  As I was growing up, you called me , spoke your words of wisdom and, because of you, you helped me through my growth as a woman.  Grand- Mother, because of you, your abundance of love will always be in my heart forever.

As Grandpa Would Say, "Look at the bright side!" When I was younger, I would say, "where grandpa?" I thought the phrase was a play land, and of course being that I was 5, I got so excited. I remember you and Grand-Father thought  my comment was so hilarious. You could not stop laughing. Grand- Mother,  you are on the brighter side of life and I am happy you are in Heaven . I will look forward to seeing you there. I love you!

Dear Grandma, 
I am so grateful for the time we had with you earlier this month.  I will cherish those moments forever. You are “my person”. You taught me to never give up. You taught me how to look for the silver lining in every situation.  I loved our walks home from elementary school together you always made the best grilled cheese for an afternoon snack.  You taught me how to drive on those old country dirt roads.  You taught me so much.  I am so grateful for you!
One of the funniest moments we had together, I was about 12. We were at Dillion’s in Olathe.  You bought a scratch off lottery ticket. I scratched it off in the car in the parking lot,  and I won. I started screaming my head off in excitement, and you covered my mouth. Little did we know the people in the car next to us were watching.  They thought you were kidnapping me.  That was interesting to try and explain. 
You are such a special woman to me.  I know Grandpa is waiting to have another meal with you. Give him a big hug and kiss for me. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you have gifted me with, I love you so much!
