McKee, Anita J., 72, of Wichita, retired family business manager & Ampco Systems office manager, passed away peacefully in her home March 4th, 2012. She was an amazing cook & caregiver who always opened her heart & home to others. She loved gardening, was a competitive spirit who loved games & puzzles, & enjoyed a good trip to Vegas. She is preceded by mother Winifred Heinze & survived by father: Ted Heinze; husband: Robert McKee; siblings: Leland & Marcheeta Heinze; children: Michael (Theresa) Gray, Marylin Warren, Marvin Gray, Martin Gray, & Robyn (Dennis) Schumacher; grandchildren: Michael (Elizabeth) Gray Jr., Chad, Brett, & Kayla Warren, Heather (Michael) McKenzie, Catherine Gray, Garrett Kraft, Alan Ray (Nicole) and Jason (Sarah); & 7 great-grandchildren. “You’ve been in our lives & now you are embedded into our hearts.” Viewing Thursday March 8th from 12 to 8 pm with family present from 6 to 7 pm and funeral service is 10 am March 9th all at Resthaven Mortuary.
