Theresa B. Nesselhauf Teague, 85, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Wichita Falls. She was born on August 16, 1928 in Sandusy, OH to the late Carl and Gladys Nesselhauf. She was married to Smsgt Thurman Cliff Teague, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Teague retired from Civil Service in 1993, where she worked as the family practice secretary in SAFB hospital. After retirement, she worked as a Red Cross volunteer for five years and supported the Humane Society and the Wolves Foundation. She loved, supported and contributed to men and women veterans and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary, VFW, Red Cross and Humane Society. Mrs. Teague was a poet and had multiple poems published. She had a strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her family, the Texas Rangers, doing ceramics, reading, Gene Autry, animals, rainbows and loved and was proud of being an American.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathi Teague King and husband Ricky of Wichita Falls; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Johnston of South Carolina, Kelly Teague, Trevor Teague, Lesleigh Simmons, Ashleigh Simmons and Julie Simmons, all of Wichita Falls; 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Cliff Teague, 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Dwayne Owens officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at a later date at Crestview Memorial Park.
