Phillip R Faulkner

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening on Monday, February 23, 2014 at the funeral home.

Phillip was born July 21, 1948 in Dublin, Texas to Mack and Myrtle Faulkner. He married Linda in October 1978. Phillip graduated from Hirschi High School in 1966 where he was president of all 4 classes, played football, basketball and ran track all 4years. He then went on to MSU in 1966 where he was a member of Kappa Alpha. Phillip was the former owner of Hometown Mortgage from 1998-2008. He was also employed by Daybreak Community Services as an Assistant Area Director. His last and most rewarding job was serving individuals with developmental disabilities which brought him fulfilment to his life.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents Mack and Myrtle.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda, Sons; Kenneth Faulkner and wife April. Mack Faulkner and Lance Stone and wife Danna, daughters; Lana Warren and husband Terry, Kelly Grace and Kimberly Gibbs, brother; Ronnie Faulkner, sister; Brenda Nebling, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
