Mary F. Truette

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 in the evening on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mary was born on October 14, 1932 in Greenville, South Carolina to James Leslie and Dora Edna (Rhodes) Bass. She married the love of her life, Billy Truette on October 15, 1950 in Darlington, South Carolina. They would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in October.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dora Bass, brothers, Les Bass and Bill Bass.

She is survived by her husband, Billy; sister, Nita Graves and husband Richard of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,; daughter, Cindy Sullenger and husband Randy of Wichita Falls, Texas; sons, Billy Truette Jr.,of Wichita Falls, Texas; Barry Truette and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls, Texas and Tracy Truette and wife Christie of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
