Larry D Chandler

Funeral services will be held Friday, 1 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, TX.

Larry was born June 2, 1941 in Windom, TX to Hulen and Annie (Gibbs) Chandler. Larry graduated in 1958 from Old High High School in Wichita Falls. After high school Larry served 2 years in the Army. He married Norma Ralls on November 8, 1968 in Wichita Falls, TX. Larry was a foreman at Burgess-Manning before venturing out on his own to become owner and operator of Chandler/ Chantex Manufacturing for 28 years. When he retired he passed the business on to his son and grandsons. Larry was an avid fisher and hunter throughout his life and enjoyed doing them with his family and friends. He also loved drag racing his Ford Falcon at the Wichita Speedway. Of all the things Larry loved to do, he most enjoyed the time spent with his family, especially his great grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his children, Arthur Roberts and wife Robin, and Randy Roberts and wife Rene; Sisters, Jackie Moorehead, Andrea Williams, Bobbie Haggard-King; Sister In-Law Loretta Chandler, Brother In-Law Monte Barnett ; Grandchildren Amanda ,Raymond Roberts and wife Ashley, Joshua Roberts and wife Tandy, Kimberly Millington and husband James, Courtney Reames and Justin, Derrick Roberts and wife Crystal; Great Grandchildren, Chandler, Brynna, Brayson, Delaney, Hudson, Kinsler, Haisley, Johnothan, Nichole, Addalyn, Lawrence, Shelby, Aleas, Tristan and Trinity.

Preceded in death by, Ann & Hulen Chandler – mother & father, Norma Chandler- wife Joy & Jack Hathaway – sister and husband, Gary Chandler – brother, Saundra Barnett – sister, Harlin Chandler – brother, Shirley Manhart – sister, Don Williams – brother-in -law, Jack Haggard – brother-in-law, brother-in-law Royce Moorhead and sister MaryAnn Hacker.
