Jerry Lee Jones

Jerry L. Jones, 81, of Lakeside City passed away Monday, June 10, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Boyett officiating.

Mr. Jones was born July 6, 1931 in Wichita Falls to Frank M Jones and Marian (Davis) Jones. He was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls and graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High School. In his youth, he was a well known Golden Gloves boxer in the local Boys’ Club. He was a charter member of Heritage Assembly of God. Jerry worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Company here in Wichita Falls and retired after 26 years of service. Jerry married Beverly Ream July 20, 1958 and was a wonderful husband for 55 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank, Bill and Charles Jones and sisters, Peggy Collins and Janice Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Lakeside City and by numerous nieces and nephews.
