Sunny graduated from Iolani High School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1963. He then attended University of North Texas. After school, Sunny began his long term career and love in the oil business. Sunny also had a great love for dogs. He had many over the years, at one time having eight.
Sunny was predeceased by his wife, Donna, his son Tres, his granddaughter, Peyton, his brother, Joe, and his sisters, Kelly and Susan.
Sunny is survived by his son, Jeff Hood and wife, Kammy; his daughter, Amanda Billick and husband, Thomas; grandchildren Tristan, Leighton, Kaden, and Alexis Hood; stepchildren Kelly DeJager and her children Hayley, Holden, Holly, Cristen, and Chad and Kim Hoover and her children Cody and Miranda; sisters Sharon Walker, Kandy Kendall and Mindy Powell.
A celebration of life ceremony will take place at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302 on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 10 a.m.
