Homer Alexander Pendleton III "Hap". Born 2/9/49 in Wichita Falls Texas to H.A. and Frances Pendleton. Graduated Rider High School, Midwestern State University and Rutherford Institute. Hap married Shelli Pendleton on February 14, 1990.
Hap always was proudest of his children and granddaughter. Survivors include, Michele Pendleton and his granddaughter Makayla Farley of Abilene, Texas. Sean Pendleton and his wife Yew-Chin of Fort Worth, Texas.
Hap was a professional musician of 40 years. He obtained his musician union card at age 15. He played hundreds of night clubs and showrooms and concerts in over 100 cities in the US and Puerto Rico.
Hap played nationally with the White & Blues Band, The Angels, Salt and Pepper, Space Band with Amy Corin and Dan Hanley Band. Around the region, he toured with Mouse and the Traps, Southern Touch with Bobby Lloyd and Smokey Logg. Hap played in bands that opened for a wide variety of entertainers; Johnny Duncan, Louis Prima, Robert Goulet, Frankie Valli, Sid Caesar, Bugs Henderson, Albert Collins, and Asleep at the Wheel.
