Evelyn Myers, 79 of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 in Wichita Falls. She was born on August 2, 1933 in Harold, TX to the late H. C. Greer and Ann Benson Greer. She was a former Vice President at North Texas Savings and Loan in Wichita Falls.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the New Electra Cemetery, Electra, TX under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Visiting time and lunch will be at 12 P.M. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Electra.
Survivors include her son, Joe McBride and wife Julia of Lucas, TX; one brother, Sam Greer and wife Sue of Bowie, TX; one sister, LaDoris Whisenant of Shreveport, LA; three grandchildren, Jennifer McBride of Whitney, TX, Cheyenne McBride of San Antonio and Katherine McBride of Lucas, TX; 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by on granddaughter, Holly McBride.
