Charles F. “Bo” Buster, 71, passed away at his home in Wichita Falls on Monday, March 3, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls with Rod Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Faith in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 Thursday evening at Hampton Vaughan.
Bo was born in Wichita Falls on May 30, 1942 to the late Charles Piatt Buster and Hazel (Tubbs) Buster. He married Sue Weakley December 29, 1961. Bo graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High School and attended Draughan’s Business School. He worked for Hazelwood Tire Company for 15 years before entering into his own residential construction business, Buster Construction. In 2004, he was employed as commercial foreman for Inman Construction until retirement in 2012. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls and taught men’s Sunday school. Bo lived to fish and was an avid hunter as well and passed the love of the outdoors to his sons.
Bo is survived by his wife, Sue Buster of Wichita Falls; daughter, Brenda Schnabel and husband, Brett of Perryton, TX; sons, Brian Buster and Brad Buster, both of Wichita Falls; sister Alice Watson of Grand Junction, CO; daughter- in –law, Shona Buster of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Sarah Trevette and husband, T. J., Rachel Zamora and husband, Jesus, Ethan Buster and Jacob Buster; one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty Bowen.
