Bonnie Edmondson Moore, 93, of Wichita Falls passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with Chaplain Starkovich Forster officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Faith of Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 2:00 PM before the service.
Bonnie was born March 4, 1921 in Rice, Texas to Grover Cleveland and Eula May (Cox) Braddock. She married Eugene Edmondson June 30, 1938 in Rice, Texas. She and Eugene moved to Wichita Falls in 1940. They had three children, Robbie, Donna and Cheryl. They were married for 56 years until Gene’s death in 1994.
Bonnie worked for many years at The Uniform Shop as a salesperson and doing alterations. She was a consultant for Luzier Cosmetics. She was a member of Grant Street Methodist Church until it closed in 2011 and was on the building committee when the new sanctuary was built.
She married Norman Moore February 14, 1997 and they were married until his death November 23, 2008.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Edmondson, her husband, Norman Moore, her parents, Grover Cleveland and Eula May Braddock and three brothers, Bud, Clyde and O. C.
She is survived by her son, Robbie and wife Liz, daughters, Donna Young and husband, Steven, Cheryl Tidwell and husband Johnny, all of Wichita Falls; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be sent to the Good Samaritan Fund of Presbyterian Manor, 4600 Taft Blvd., Wichita Falls, TX 76308.
