Bobby W Robertson

Bobby W. Robertson, 61, of Wichita Falls passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Crestview Memorial Park, Garden of Angels section, with Harvey McMurry, Chaplain at Hospice of Wichita Falls Chaplain. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 6:30 Monday at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Bobby was born October 18, 1950 in Wichita Falls to James R. and Elaine Robertson. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1969 and shortly thereafter was drafted in to the U. S. Navy, serving for two years. He married Diane Koetter of Windthorst, TX on September 8, 1979. Bobby started working for Stanley Tools when they began operations in Wichita Falls and retired in early 1994 due to health. He enjoyed listening to music, particularly the Oldies, watching a lot of old western movies, and of course, having his granddaughter come and visit.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Geraldine Brown and a half brother, James Roy Robertson.

Survivors include his wife, Diane; son Lance, both of Wichita Falls; brother, Jimmy and wife, Leah of Decatur, TX; sister, Teresa Wilson of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Haylee Robertson of Wichita Falls and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., 76310.
