Visitation will be on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 12-2 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral with a graveside to follow at 2PM at Crestview Memorial Park.
Billy was born February 28, 1948 in Wichita Falls to Billy Joe and Mildred Irene (Arbuckle) Parks. He was the oldest of four sibling. They lost their dad in 1958 and their mother, Mildred, married John Thompson Jr. whom they knew as their Dad. He graduated High School in Wichita Falls and went on to join the Army in 1968 to 1971. Billy went to work with Delta Airlines in 1971 after the Army and retired with them in 2006.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Parks, Mildred Parks Thompson and John Thompson Jr.
He is survived by his brothers, Arlie Joe parks and wife Peggy and Charlie Lee parks and wife Linda Rector; sister, Paula Curington and husband Lloyd Ray; niece, Lori Samarron; nephews, Doug Curington, Gary Parks, Mackenzie Parks and Charlie Parks Jr. and Numerous great nieces and nephews and 6 cousins.
