Brad Leopold would best be described as a passionate woman. She had a tremendous love for her husband of 61 years, Gerald (Jerry) Leopold, her 5 children, Darryl R. Leopold, Roxanne Kocher, Robert I. Leopold, Jerilee Robbins and Ross B. Leopold, and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her passion for life was palpable the minute you walked into the room with her. She was always ready to share a cup of coffee, a choice piece of gossip, and a kind word to send you on your way. Being a woman of strong emotions she had a disconcerting way of discerning when something was wrong in your life, and having the right words to make it better. Her deep faith and strength of character was always a firm handhold for all her family and without it, our way will be all the more difficult. Her love for us will live in our hearts and minds as a fitting and permanent tribute to her long and fruitful life.
Born March 4, 1931 in Havre, Montana to Ben Alfred and Beula Bradbury, she grew up in nearby Rudyard. Beverly served her country by joining the Army in 1950, where she met the love of her life, Gerald (Jerry) Leopold at the Pentagon where they both worked. After her military service, she became a homemaker, where she loved to sew, work estate sales and to dote on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She came to Wichita Falls in 1976 upon the retirement of her husband from military service and their subsequent relocation.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Ben Alfred Bradbury, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, her sister Bonita Osborn of Olympia, WA, her 5 children, Darryl Leopold of Boulder, CO, Roxanne Kocher and husband Regie of Wichita Falls, Robert Leopold and wife Pat of Bowie, TX, Jerilee and husband Jon Robbins of Wichita Falls, and Ross Leopold of Wichita Falls. Her grandchildren, D'Ann Dell'Aquila and husband Gabriele, Derek Leopold and wife Allison, Lena Leopold, Erika Leopold, Monika Leopold, Kyle Robbins, and Michael Robbins. Also survived by her great-grandchildren Natalie, Kelsey, and Sophie Dell' Aquila, and Eva Robbins.
