Judith C. Seeley, 79, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2020, at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, Judy lived in Manalapan for 25 years before moving to Lake Ariel in Pennsylvania and then settled in Whiting 4 years ago. Judy graduated from Georgian Court College at the age of 50, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She worked on the child study team for Millstone Middle School and New Brunswick VoTech.
Judy loved life to the fullest! She took every opportunity to enjoy her life, whether it was ballroom or vintage dancing with James, going on incredible vacations, some with her grandchildren or even going for a simple walk or motorcycle ride. Judy was selfless and cared for everyone, always ready to lend a helping hand, like volunteering for SEAS, a food pantry. She and James were parishioners of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting.
For most of her life, she battled cancer. She never once asked why her or complained but took it straight on and fought with grace and dignity. A true inspiration, she never let her illness define her and never let it slow her down.
Judith is survived by her devoted and loving husband James, her adoring daughters Allison and her husband Greg, Erin and her husband Howie, and Jessica and her husband Mitchell, her cherished grandchildren James, Jackson, Avery, Logan and Darian. She is also survived by her dear sister Theresa. Judy was predeceased her parents James and Julia Grygowicz.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at a later date.
