Erna O'Hare 95, of Whiting passed away Monday June 24th, at the Pines At Whiting. Erna was born in Philadelphia, PA. and lived most of her life in Ocean Gate and Toms River before moving to the Pines At Whiting three years ago. She was a supervisor for the Crown Can Company in Philadelphia for many years. Erna was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Toms River and member of the Altar Rosary Society.
She is predeceased by her husbands Robert W. Gaffney and John J. O'Hare. Surviving is her son and his wife Richard E. and Susanne Gaffney of Beachwood, two grandchildren Richard and his wife Anna Gaffney of Forked River and Kathleen P. Gaffney of Gilbert, Az. Also surviving are two great granddaughters Melissa and Victoria.
Mrs. O'Hare will have a private cremation. The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting is handling the arrangements.
