David M. Barker, born in West Hudson Hospital in 1941 and raised in North Arlington, NJ passed away on Wednesday, January 11th after a valiant struggle with pulmonary fibrosis. Dave served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve during the Vietnam conflict and was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University for both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business Administration. His career included: Vice President & Division Executive, Network Computing Services for Chase Manhattan Bank; previously with Schering-Plough Corporation (where he met his wife Sharon) as Director, Headquarters Systems and Services. Dave was also the President of Strategic Technology Planning Group - a consulting business with his wife. He also had a career after retirement as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Hearthside (Yardley, PA). Dave is survived by his loving wife Sharon; daughters Bonnie and (son-in-law) Jerry Nezlick , Nancy Barker, Jenny and (son-in-law) Ernie Brand with their children – Karl, Lauren, and Jack, son Kenny and (daughter-in-law) Lisa Barker and their children – Jayden, Kaylynn, Jasmine, Payton, Trinity, Corbin, and Ashton. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Nancy Barker (Thomas Barker brother pre-deceased), Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gail and Sal Signorelli, as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, January 16, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. Services will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Committal to include Military Honors will be Tuesday 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, Schoolhouse Rd, Brielle.
