Christine Phillips Spano, age 51, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away November 26, at her home. She was born on May 15, 1969 in Elizabeth, NJ to David and Barbara Phillips. For many years Christine worked as Office Manager at Shore Products in Freehold, NJ. She was also a longtime volunteer for the Manchester Police Activities League, Inc. (PAL). Christine absolutely loved to travel, especially to any beach where she could simply relax and appreciate the oceans and sunsets on any day. She had an energetic personality and always made people around her laugh. Her life was a living example of one of her favorite quotes: Life is too short.
Above all else she loved her family. Christine is survived by her two sons, Kyle and Jake; her former husband of 19 years Chad Spano; her parents David and Barbara Phillips; her sister and husband Arlene and Robert Greenway, her brother David Phillips III; and her nieces and nephews, Amanda, Lindsay, Matthew and Brad Greenway.
Family and friends may join us on celebrating her life on Thursday, December 10, between 4:00-8:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m.
