Long time companion of Lynn Martin. Dear father of Robert (Monica Garza) Martin and Lindsay Martin. Proud grandfather of Lillian and Braysen. Brother of Janet Meador, Kathleen (Paul) Moore, Louise (Mark) Passmore, Mary (Richard) LaMarbe, Dolores (Matthew) Horten, Barbara (Arthur) Armstrong, Deborah Horvath, David (Lisa) Martin and Donna (Chris) Horten. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extend family. Sadly he is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Jeanette (nee Fleming) Martin and two sisters, Roberta and Judith Martin.
In High School, Robert was a member of the Waterford Kettering Band. He enjoyed playing the piano and loved music. In his spare time he liked to build models, read and visit the Nature Center. He will be very much missed by all.
A Celebration of Life along with memory sharing will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until a time of sharing at 2:00pm.
