Ricky Ray Sullivan

Ricky Ray Sullivan, age 66, of Pontiac, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at his home. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Angela Renee Sullivan, Michael Cronk-Ricky Ray, and Steven Sullivan; and his seven siblings and their spouses: Pat and Cis Sullivan, Gary and Cindy Bates, Helen and Rick Wing, Tina and Grant Giuchici, Christina and Scott LaBean, Wendy and Chuck Casteel, and Donald and Stephanie Bates.

Ricky was born October 29, 1957, in Pontiac, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Janice (Stadler) Bates. He devoted much of his professional life to a successful career as a carpenter and roofer. Ricky was the proud owner of R&R Sullivan Roofing, a company that he spent over thirty years overseeing the operations of. In his free time, Ricky could always be found outside working on his yard or in his garden, or enjoying a game of pool. Most of all, Ricky cherished the time he spent with his family and close friends. He was a wonderful man who will be dearly missed.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Janice; his brother, Michael Sullivan; and his sister, Linda Lychmanenko.

In accordance with Ricky’s wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan 48386. Ricky’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
