Marvin Matthew Evans, age 86, Sunrise July 11, 1936 in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Sunset June 18, 2023 in White Lake, Michigan. Loving father of Faith Evans and Cassandra (John) Reid. Proud grandfather of Fayanna Moore, Malaka Moore, Nelson Griffin Jr., Myesha Griffin, John Carr, Lilah Echols, Earl Echols Jr., Stormy Echols, and Treasure Echols, and great-grandfather of Oakland Moore and Malajah Moore. Dear brother of Bobby (Sue) Evans, Fredrick (Lucille) Evans, Danny Evans, Peggy (Albert) Butler, and Judy Evans. Cherished uncle of many. Marvin was preceded in passing by his parents, Matthew and Jessie Evans; his daughter, Meloney Evans; and his siblings, Lawrence Evans, James Evans, Donald Evans, Harold Evans, Larry Evans, and Madeleine Tinsley.
Inurnment with Military Honors will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at 9:00am at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly.
