Lawrence Robert McDonald

Lawrence Robert McDonald beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, friend, and mentor. He spent his early childhood in Pennsylvania and eventually moved to Detroit, where he met his wife of 42 years, Ramona. Lawrence and Ramona went on to raise three beautiful children, Matthew, Veronica (Kyle) and Brittany. They share one grandson, Roman.

Lawrence spent most of his career life as a gemologist at Maloof Jewelers in St. Clair Shores, Michigan a career that gave him many years of pride and joy. Following his years in the jewelry industry, he applied his many certifications into other avenues of work. He took his plethora of knowledge into financial trading for many years, something that showcased his research and fed his interest of the financial field. Lawrence created his most joyful moments surrounded by his friends and family, chasing the beaches of Mexico with his wife, and engaging in deep meaningful conversation, sharing his endless wealth of knowledge with others. His truest character would shine when he was able to mentor someone struggling. He took pride in restoring confidence in young people who needed direction, guidance, and most of all support. He will be deeply missed, but the love and light he brought to others will live on forever.
