Helen Marie (Bucher) Lonsberry, age 77, of White Lake, died Saturday, May 1, 2021, at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: William Lonsberry, Susan (Randy) Carnell, and Michael (Kristen) Lonsberry; her five grandchildren: Megan Carnell, Sara Lonsberry, David Lonsberry, Owen Lonsberry, Amanda Lonsberry; her two siblings: Vincent (Gladys) Bucher, and Irene (Clarence) Decker; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, her close friends, and her many bingo lady friends.
Helen was born July 21, 1943. She and William Lonsberry were united in marriage in 1962, and shared fifty-four wonderful years together until William’s death in December of 2016. Throughout her life, Helen was a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her three children. Later in life, Helen worked for a variety of companies, ranging from plastic work in Walled Lake to her job at Kameo Cleaner’s. In her free time, Helen enjoyed playing Bingo and taking trips to the casino. She also loved to travel; she held fond memories of her trip to the Dominican Republic with a group of close friends. However, most of all, Helen loved to spend time with her family. Helen was a wonderful woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Helen was preceded in death by her mother, Beulah (Schneider) Beach; her stepfather, Clarence Beach; her husband, William Lonsberry, and her two siblings: Diane Black, and William Bucher.
In accordance with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be inurned at Perry MT Park Cemetery in Pontiac next to her beloved husband, William at a later date.
