A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Terry Paul Gaspard passed away on October 25, 2017 at the age of 68. He was an avid Yankees, LSU, and Saints fan. He enjoyed creating and fixing new things around the house and having conversations with the people he met. He was a member of the American Legion and a veteran who served in the National Guard as a cook who served many. He also enjoyed delivering specialty coffee for Decatur Expresso in New Orleans. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlotte Walker Gaspard; two daughters, Cherie Hartley (Steven), and Trisha Miller (Etienne); one son, James Gaspard (Tianna); four grandchildren, Justin Hartley, Jessica Hartley, Abigail Miller and Jean-Paul Miller; and two godchildren, Myranda Chauvin, and Madison Kellis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and Felix Gaspard; one brother, Gerard Joseph Gaspard; and one godchild, Gerald “Jerry”Gaspard, Jr. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Weeks, Dr. Schrock, and the entire staff of the Ochsner Medical Complex in Iberville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 10:30 am until the Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana. Father Paul Yi will be officiating.
