Annie was a loving wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. She enjoyed working in her yard and planting beautiful flowers. She adored animals and was always ready to adopt a stray cat looking for food and a good home. Annie also enjoyed sewing for herself and others. She made many little girls happy by sewing Barbie and Ken doll clothes for them. Annie was very proud to have made Elenora's wedding dress which was later passed down and worn by her sister Adeline.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four nieces, Elenora G. LeBlanc, Adeline G. Caillet, Rose G. Buckles, and Barbara W. Guillot and one nephew,Thomas Rodrigue.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Landry; parents, Charles and Laura Templet Rodrigue; three brothers, Sonny Rodrigue (Mae), Nelson Rodrigue (Mildred), and Rumsey Rodrigue (Margie); two sisters, Helen R. Woods (Bill) and Edith R. Guillot (Dennis); two nieces, Mary Jane W. Prejean and Phyllis W. Guillot and one nephew, Paul Rodrigue.
Pallbearers will be: Dwayne LeBlanc, Raymond Prejean, Ricky Prejean, Roger Prejean, Blaine Sanchez, and Troy Genevese.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in White Castle on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 9am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Prompt Succor at 11am with interment to follow in the White Castle Mausoleum.
