93, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2017 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Velma is survived by her loving family; daughter Linda Bowen, grandchildren; Karleen (Jaime) Parker, Jackie Parker, and Jeanna (Troy) Maire, great grandchildren; Eric Berry, Kate St. Amour, Alan Berry, Kurt Berry, Justin New, Morgan Parker, Tyler Maire, and Brittney Maire, also 11 great great grandchildren. Her siblings; sisters, Evelyn Mussman, Arcele Thompson, Allene Lagenburg, and Viola Muehling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Parker, son Carl Parker, parents, Fred and Sophie Barfknecht, sisters, Lillian Holum, Florence Palhegi, Vivian Walker, and Beth Connoly, brother Harold Barfknecht.
